My two enjoying their day off school. Unfortunately some of us still have to go to work once the roads are clear enough to drive on.Hope all of you that have snow today are out enjoying it too.

- I am the BIG sister to little Lucy Locket (recycled her pocket). After a great bloggy meet up in London, Little sister decided I needed my own blog so has VERY kindly made one for me and wrote the first post. Hmm! Well, a little bit about me is I am a mother of two wonderful little darlings the eldest being 20 and 6ft4! and my daughter is now 18 and nearly as tall as me! I also have a very sympathetic husband of nearly 25 years who has to put up with a very bossy wife and also a slightly mad sister-in-law (in case any family are reading this - it is THE LOCKET).

No.1 was leaping around in excitement at the school being closed. Have we had our snow now, or will there be more? Drive safely in the snow! x

I've only just managed to catch up on all the blogs. The weather has warmed up somewhat this weekend and all that snowy chaos seems like ages ago now! We didn't get quite so much snow where we live and the high school remained open (much to the disappointment of my boys). I did find a snowball in the freezer the other day and now feel guilty for chucking it on the lawn. One of the boys must have made it. Next time I'll keep it. I really do feel awful about it now, a bit like when you accidentally let go of a balloon and it floats away...
