Well, she needed a helping hand

Seeing as my BIG sister Ally is"far too busy" to create a blog but is definitely an honorary blogger and has taken part in 3 bloggy meet-ups, I thought I'd do it for her - and I'm sure I have chosen the right title for it!

And she is a closet crafter too...............................

here are some of the decorations she made yesterday following Domesticali's tutorial

this one is from wrapping paper

and this is her clever variation made using the fabric wrapping from Michaela's fabulous fudge

she soaked it in a PVA solution first to stiffen it and it worked really well.

I'm sure she will have a lot more to say so please leave my BIG sister a comment to welcome her to blogland!!!

Howdy Ally Locket! Welcome to blogland (strange and wonderful place that it is).

Love the wreaths. Very cute (and getting to play with PVA glue - bonus! I love that stuff).

Aren't little sisters very annoying.

I am having to put a comment on my own blog as lil sis hasn't explained how to post a new item. No doubt she will as soon as she has read this.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and the best thing is I had more comments than she did this afternoon.

I also loved meeting all you lovely bloggers on Friday and Saturday and thank you for the lovely gifts you gave me esp as I WAS a non blogger.

Watch this space and see if I get to learn how to infiltrate blogland now!

Welcome to blogland Ally Locket! Are you as crazy as your little sister?

If I were you, I'd definitely pick up on your share of the work around here 'cause you know what little sisters can be like if they don't get their way!!!

Yay! Welcome to Blogland Ally! I absolutely promise I will email and we will do that thing we talked about. This year just turned 'weird', but next year, I am back to being 'me'.

I'm really pleased you've decided to blog - even if Lucy did 'coerce' you a little.

Hello Ally! Welcome to blogland! I reckon this must be the highest-comment-grossing first blog post ever!

I'm ever so glad Lucy created this blog for you, not least because it gives me somewhere to come and say "hi!" and "it was lovely to meet you at the weekend!" I had a really lovely time on Saturday, and very much enjoyed being part of the party, so thanks for letting me join in.

I love your origami wreaths - and you said you weren't a crafter! - and I'm looking forward to reading more posts from you... when Lucy shows you how ;o)

Your minions await!

I lOVE that photo - is that a teent tiny locket pocket we can see there? Small enough, in fact, to pop in a pocket.

Excellent wreaths and a fab way to kick off your bloggy journey.

Magic to meet you on Saturday and thanks for the lovely beads!
